On 27 September, 2007, a day before my birthday, bloggers from all over the world will be joining forces to blog against abuse. On this day, thousands and thousands of bloggers will write against different forms of abuse that have plagued our world. Even though this initiative is being organized by Blogcatalog, the social blog directory, bloggers who are not members of Blogcatalog can also take part.
On my part, I am pleased to let you know that I will take part in this campaign. Similarly, I would like to encourage you to take part if you have a blog. You do not have to write a long essay. Even a few lines will be enough. You will have the liberty to define abuse as you wish. The advantage is that if more of us speak out, there will be a higher probability for our voices to be heard. Please take a look at the Blogcatalog Stop Abuse discussion thread for more details.
