@Sam Nichols: I read somewhere that these PR penalties will never affect your SERPs. They are only used as a tool to deter prospective link buyers from getting interested in your site. They also reduce your bargaining ability in case someone wants to advertise their business/products/website on your site. If you have a high Tool Bar PR (which everyone sees), you can make more deals and more money. If you want to make more money then you can confess your sins to the almighty Google and I am sure you will be forgiven if you agree to follow their way. Lol!

I have one site penalized but was still ranking high just like it did before..is just a toolbar penalty? The real PR is the same?

Very good post Clement. People should just concentrate on having good content. My PR went from a 0 to 2 over the weekend which is a bonus but I dont want to concentrate on putting up good posts.

I don’t know.And it seems Google is not saying anything as well. But speculation is rife in the blogosphere that Google intends to replace PageRank with TrustRank.
