Yeah, I know this is message is a couple of days late, but better late than never.Anyway, I just wanted to take a minute to congratulate President Elect Barack Obama in this historic moment.

Barack Obama and his family on election night in Chicago, IL on Wednesday, November 5, 2008.
And look at the swarms of people on his campaign trail. These people were hungry for change, fired up and ready to go!

In this defining moment in history, the American people have spoken, and they have spoken clearly. Now is the time to pray for President Elect Barack Obama so that God will keep him and his family safe under His watchful eye.May the good Lord continue to guide him and give him the wisdom as he ascends to the most powerful office in world politics.

Oh my gosh!! This is soooo crazy! Look at all of those people in the crowd! That is amazing. I just hope people will take the time to realize that Obama is just like any other president and I hope they will view him as a president, not just the “african-american president”.

I am one of those people whose team “never wins” – mostly in the world of sports – but any time I am really pulling for someone, it doesn’t seem to pan out.
However, in the case of Obama, it did, and I am thrilled that we have a real opportunity for change. As other commenters have said…the people have spoken!

An absolute swarm of people it was!
Congrats, Obama. Hopefully you can stear the economy into a better place.
May the coming change be for the better.

This is truly a historic election. I can’t wait until he takes over and starts to make some changes. Although nobody is perfect I am very hopeful that he does a lot of good.

America finally picked the right guy!
Having said that Obama is going to be on an uphill struggle with the mess the country (and indeed the rest of the world) is in. Hopefully he is able to achieve enough within four years to convince the public to elect him again because I think he’s going to help American become a much more progressive nation.

ya its been a long time , that a black person comes to supreme. it is good for America that this happen. Obama is a great person, having good sense of humor… This also good for american black persons. Now they can say that only white are not considered .. they all are one America. That is proved by Obama.

Finally! change has come to America indeed. I like Obama because I can really feel he’s a very good President. I hope he will not fail the expectations of his people. If only I’m an American, I will definitely vote for him, too.

I’m also a bit late to comment that kind of post but you really impressed me with that photos. Is there’re such hordes of those willing to start changes Obama couldn’t loose the campaign.

Congratulations to the US and to Obama! I just hope he delivers and is faithful to his convictions and voters.

Yeah there is huge expectation from Obama. Bush was totally failure and it seems to me that he was there just to fulfill the dream of his father i.e., to grab Sadam Hussain.
But he is certainly looking more committed towards the welfare of this world.

Obama now has great responsibility. He promissed a lot, but it’s not too easy to redeem all the promises. I wish good luck to him!

Yeah congrats to Obama.
He has made history, without even breaking a sweat.
Now he has started taking action on important matters.
America will become great again.
May God protect him and guide him.

It is amazing how the pundits are already trying to trash Obama’s first 50 days in office, and that he is not doing enough. Gee whiz – give the guy a break – he only has 2 wars, the biggest economic crisis in decades, and quite a few more issues to juggle!
I think he is handling himself with poise and confidence. No doubt it will take a few years for a lot of this stuff that he is doing to actually help, but he has done some great things since he first took office.
