Is the Vopium service available in the U.S.? I think if you could get the Iphone and not the internet on it, Vopium might be the answer.

You do not have to abandon Skype; you just have to maintain a Skype account as well as a Vopium account at the same time. Each one of them has its own advantages and disadvantages.
