Prof. Dr. Imre J. Rudas from Budapest Tech, Hungary, will give an IEEE-SMC distinguished lecture at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, on Monday, 27 September, 2010.

Prof. Dr. Imre J. Rudas, IEEE-SMC Distinguished Lecturer
The title of his lecture is Information Aggregation in Intelligent Systems. It’s abstract can be accessed from here. The lecture will run from 15:00 to 16:30.
It will take place in room G3-220 on the 2nd floor of the G3-Building at the Suzukakedai campus of the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
The campus’ entrance is 1 minute walk from the Suzukakedai railway station (Tokyu Denentoshi-line) and the G3 Building is 13 minute walk from the entrance. For more, please refer to this map.
This is a golden opportunity for researchers in Intelligent systems in the Kanto and surrounding areas to take part in the state-of-the-art discussion with the distinguished lecturer on various approaches to information aggregation in intelligent systems.
I am eagerly looking forward to this lecture. Judging from the abstract, I see that I am going to learn a lot of new things in this area.
After the lecture, there will be a reception. This will give participants even more time to interact and probably forge new research partnerships.
If you want to take part in this lecture/reception, please send an email to Ms. Harumi HOSHINO (secret at hrt.dis.titech.ac.jp) of the Hirota/Sakurai Lab, before September 23, 2010. In the email, you must state the following:
- Your name
- Your affiliation
- Whether you will take part in the lecture only or lecture and reception.
The reception fee, 2000 yen, will be collected in the lecture room.
