Last week, I met the Director of Panasonic Energy Tanzania, Mr Shoichiro Kawano, at Shinjuku Center Building in Tokyo. He told me that Panasonic Energy Tanzania is recruiting.
Some positions have been filled already, but the ones remaining are as follows:
- Factory Manager: This person will be responsible for dry battery production. He is expected to have either a graduate or a bachelor’s degree in Machine Engineering or any related technical discipline, with 5 years experience in factory control.
- Supervisor for Import/Export: This person is expected to have a graduate or bachelor’s in Commerce, with some experience in Import and Export.

As I see it, building up economies is the key to better lives for people everywhere. In the USA economic wealth is often seen as a bad thing. Excesses can be bad. But good jobs are the building block to good lives.
