Toward the end of last year, children at Ganet’s Adventure School in Malawi produced a Christmas video. I forgot to post it here because I was tied up with so many other things last December. But as the saying goes: Better late than never. Enjoy the short video below.
The school was founded by its Malawian director, Gertrude Banda, in Mkondezi village, 5km west of Nkhata Bay, Malawi and teaches primary and nursery age children. It receives no government funding, and relies on support from around the world to keep it running.
The school has recently expanded to over 200 pupils, meaning more desks are urgently needed. Even though a desk for two pupils costs just £17, they don’t have enough spare funds to make all of the 70 desks needed.
If you would like to help, donations can be made through their Virgin Money Giving page. You can like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. You can also find out more about the school and how you can get involved from their website.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThis program really needs a lot of funding since it is not affiliated with the government. Such an inspiring effort to help and give importance to education. Would definitely support this kind of organization.
