#SharingIsCaring – The Department of Aerospace and Software Engineering in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and, Information Engineering, Gyeongsang National University, South Korea is inviting applications for Doctoral positions (PhD studentships) in Computer Science and Engineering/Informatics.

This department is a leading research centre in Distributed Computing, Systems Software, Real-Time Systems and Wireless Networks along with its applications to Aerospace. According the information that I have, they are running a government funded research program (BK21plus project) in the aforesaid areas.

The salary for the doctoral positions is approximately USD 1000 per month along with applicable tax regulation and other governmental regulation/benefits. Applicants must have attained a Master of Engineering/Master of Science in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering from a recognized university. Applicants must be interested in Distributed Computing/Systems, Operating
Systems, and Mobile Computing.

The expected duration for the PhD program is 3 years based on continuation of funding. However, it can be extended based on conditions and availability.
