The Namibia Python Community will host the PyCon Namibia 2017 conference from 21st to 23rd February, 2017 in Windhoek at Namibia Institute Of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM). This conference caters for professionals, scientists, academics, students and hobbyists, who share a common interest in Python programming.

PyCon Namibia 2017 is supported by the University of Namibia and the Cardiff University Phoenix Project. So far, two successful Python conferences have taken place in 2015 and 2016.This year’s conference will be the third one. In case, you are in Windhoek and you would like to attend, feel free to register on this site.

In my case, I would have loved to attend this exciting conference, but I will not be able to do so due to several reasons. I really wanted to present our work on Python scripts for our Smart Water Metering Network simulations in TOSSIM. Hopefully, next year, I will have a chance to share our work at PyCon Namibia 2018.
