Maduqa is a relatively new site aimed at making it easy for buyers and suppliers to do business on-line. It is good for small businesses that do not have enough money for marketing their products. Users can create and manage their online businesses from anywhere and at any time. The sign-up process is very easy.
Maduqa offers two business platforms: classifieds and online shops. The classifieds platform is an easy-to-use tool to find anything you want, or sell items online quickly, easily and efficiently. You can chat in real-time with your customers. You can also communicate via Maduqa InMail or other email options.
On the other hand, the online shops platform provides a marketplace where users can open online shops from which they can sell items quickly. Shop owners can display unlimited number of items in their shops for a small monthly fee. They get email alerts whenever their shop is visited and items bought.
Currently, the service does not have payment gateways. You are required to email he owner in order to buy. But in his comment on Hash’s review of Maduqa, Kachwanya, who is one of the founders, has promised that the payment system is going to be up very soon.
Techmasai also mentioned that the site does not contain security (SSL) of any sort. I hope that the guys at Maduqa are working on this issue as well.

That will certainly be a very good thing for the site since nowadays, customers really start to demand for immediate payment/delivery possibilities.
Hopefully the WC going to Africa this year will give these guys a spring board to get themselves in the shop window.

Thank u for this blog,!
I came across your site today and have to say there is a lot of helpful info. I work for a company, SimplyCast, that does a lot to help out small businesses and non profits build a powerful and affordable online marketing campaign.
I always appreciate such sites which are created keeping in mind the welfare of small and intermediate level business holders. It provides a way for them to express themselves and their products.
If your business is basically online i.e. website based then you can also use free press releases to promote your product.
